How to hand pollinate pumpkins successful | Female Flower | Male Flower

In this video, I will show you a few things about pumpkin, especially about pollinating pumpkin flowers to successfully become fruit.

First, in this video we will know the difference between male and female pumpkin flowers, where the difference lies in the shape of the stamens, and the ovules under the petals. male flower stamens are single, while female flowers are four-pronged. for the ovules themselves are only owned by female flowers, there are rounded bumps under the petals.

Pollination should be done in the morning, when the flower has just bloomed, so that it is still fresh and easy to pollinate.

It is best to only keep one fruit in one branch, so that the fruit produced can be maximized. because the branch will supply nutrients focused on one fruit. whereas if there is more than one fruit in one branch, it is likely to produce less than optimal fruit, or one of them will usually fall by itself, because it does not receive nutrients properly.
